Minelab GPX 4500
August 11th, 2009The Minelab GPX 4500 is the new gold detection metal detector from Minelab’s gold metal detector models. The GPX 4500 was preceded by the GPX 4000 model from Minelab. The GPX 4500 offers features that are currently unmatched by the competitors and contains many new improvements and features that were not available in the GPX 4000.
The Minelab 4500 model from the GPX series of gold metal detectors contains cutting edge technology and performance that out performs other manufacturers. This new technology called SETA or Smart Electronic Timing Alignment is used with the existing MPS or Multi Period Sensing and DVT or Dual Voltage Technology making this GPX 4500 more immune to interference and quieter than the previous earlier Minelab GPX models.
The GPX 4500 comes with numerous pre-programmed search modes which allow an inexperienced or amateur treasure hunter, prospector or metal detectorist the ability to start detecting right away. The GPX-4500 features louder target signals, improved discrimination, versatility and a quieter threshold.
The GPX 4500 now includes an Iron Rejection function, combined with a specially programmed Hi Trash search mode which allows searches in high trash areas to be conducted in a breeze. This also allows the GPX4500 to operate very well as a relic and jewelry hunting detector because of the ability to recover smaller and deeper targets. Many professional prospectors claim that the Minelab GPX 4500 gives the best results of any gold detector currently on the market.
