Minelab GPX 4000

The Minelab GPX 4000 is one of Minelab’s older gold metal detecting metal detector models. The GPX 4500 was preceded by the Minelab GPX 4o00.

The GPX 4500 is a new gold detecting metal detector from Minelab which includes vast improvements over the GPX 4000 model.

The GPX4000 was not so much an upgrade from the Minelab GPX 3500, rather the Minelab 4000 series gold metal detectors are an entirely new model of Minelab gold metal detectors. New features included on the GPX 4000 gold metal detector include:

• LCD Display
• Pre-set and pre-programmed search modes for patch finding, general and deep detecting
• A Gain function was included which allows the GPX-4000 to be balanced for different areas
• Sensitive and Smooth Timing which allows the detector to be tuned to minimize ground noise yet remain responsive to small targets
• Ground balance type
• Better support for different sweep speeds and motions
• Volume limits
